Jakarta, 2 Oktober 2009, bertempat di halaman kantor Departemen Perhubungan Jakarta sekaligus memperingati Hari Perhubungan, Menteri Perhubungan yang dalam hal ini diwakili oleh Sekjen Departemen Perhubungan M.Iksan Tatang, menyerahkan secara langsung penghargaan AKUTNAS 2009 (Awak Kendaraan Umum Teladan Nasional) kepada Mulyono, pengemudi taksi Express yang mewakili DKI Jakarta. Kami sangat bangga atas prestasi yang dicapai oleh pengemudi kami, dengan hasil capaian tersebut kami berharap agar dapat memotivasi pengemudi taksi Express yang lain dalam meningkatkan pelayanannya kepada pelanggan serta meningkatkan kepatuhan dalam mengendarai kendaraan di jalan raya, demikian dikatakan oleh Daniel Podiman selaku Presiden Direktur Express Group. Daniel juga menambahkan, ”Sebelum mengikuti perlombaan ini, pengemudi kami terlebih dahulu mengikuti pelatihan ” Pelayanan Prima ” yang diadakan secara reguler oleh Express Group, yang juga dikiuti oleh seluruh pengemudi taksi Express, sehingga kwalitas pelayanan dan kepatuhan dalam berkendaraan di jalan raya para pengemudi kami meningkat”. Pengemudi Angkutan Umum Teladan Tingkat Nasional yang telah menjadi agenda rutin Departemen Perhubungan. Tahun 2009 ini, peserta berjumlah 54 orang yang merupakan perwakilan dari seluruh provinsi di Indonesia. DKI Jakarta mengirimkan 2 orang perwakilan (1 orang dari Taksi Express dan 1 orang dari Trans Busway). Test yang dilakukan dalam kompetisi ini antara lain : Pengetahuan tentang undang-undang LLAJ (Lalu-Lintas Angkutan Jalan), pengetahuan tentang ”Defensive Driving, Test Kesehatan, dinamika kelompok, psikologi, disiplin dan pengetahuan tentang asuransi. Mulyono, yang menerima penghargaan AKUTNAS 2009, mengatakan ”Saya merasa bangga dapat mewakili DKI Jakarta dan mendapatkan peringkat Ke Tiga pada kompetisi ini, prestasi saya tersebut didukung oleh pelatihan- pelatihan yang disediakan oleh Express Group dalam rangka meningkatkan pelayanan dan kwalitas para pengemudinya”. Jakarta, 17 March 2009 – PT Express Transindo Utama (Express Group), a taxi service provider, through the Indonesia Children with Cancer Care Foundation (YKAKI), is committed to helping children with cancer from poor families by providing transportation services during medical treatment. YKAKI is a foundation committed to help children with cancer from poor families while in medical treatment. YKAKI offers transitory house called ‘Rumah Kita’ which is located in Jl. Percetakan Negara IX/3, Central Jakarta. This house is dedicated to the children undergoing medical treatment in Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital and Carolus Hospital. YKAKI also gives hospital schooling services named ‘Sekolah-ku’ for children with cancer who are unable to study in public school. Pinta Manullang-Panggabean, the Chief of YKAKI, said “We greatly need support from various parties to help children with cancer from poor families to make the children more cheerful during this difficult period. In fact, cancer is not a contagious disease. Cancer can be cured with early detection, medication and proper treatment. Therefore, we are very thankful for the help from Express Group and its drivers who are willing to aid the children during their healing process. May God bless your kind support in return.” Andy F. Noya, the founder of Kick Andy Foundation and YKAKI supporter said “As a journalist, I will certainly help this worthy program through communication to inform more people about this program. Thus, more people’s hearts will be touched to collectively help these children enjoy their rights amid their condition” Daniel Podiman, Express Group President Director said “We are really happy to be able to help children with cancer from poor families through YKAKI. We hope this support was not only from Express Group management but also Express taxi drivers who sincerely help these children by giving their time to bring them from transitory house to hospital. Because whoever we are, whatever our condition, sharing with others is a noble thing to do. YKAKI and Express Group cooperation will start since 17 March 2009 for 1 year ahead. Express taxi drivers will give their time to deliver the children to hospital and take them back to the transitory house according to their treatment schedule. This transportation schedule will be conducted every morning from Monday to Friday for 1 year. |
